Blizzcon or Bust

Well my geekdom, I believe, has reached it's pinnacle. I have tickets to attend Blizzcon in Anaheim in mid-October and even though I'm going mostly as a chaperone for my 13 year old nephew, I can admit to a little bit of selfish excitement.

I remember attending a local Star Trek convention one time back in the early 90s when TNG was in it's heyday. I also remember vowing to myself NEVER to tell anyone else I attended. But this time it's different. I mean, it's Blizzard...a company who has 10 million subscribers to their popular World of Warcraft MMO. I go with head held high and even though I just turned 40 this year, I am not ashamed that I will be celebrating computer gaming with one it's gods.
